Getting to the coastline
If you want to go surfing sustainably in europe this is one of the closest and fastest ways to go. The TGV from Basel to Bodeaux via Paris only takes 5 hours.
From there a Bus will take you to Lacanau in about 1 hour. And welcome to some nice beaches, good surfing and nice vibes.

On your way to Lacanau you can easily make stops in Paris or Bordeaux. Both of these cities offer different vibes and a good time for sure.
